Texture Setup
In the texture setup tab you can specify texture mapping.
(A) Texture Mapping
(1) Alt-Grad Texture / Normal TextureTwo different kinds of mapping can be altered in this radio button.
(2) Library
recalls preset library or registered mapping pattern.
(3) Register
registers the mapping setup to the library.
(4) Generate
This option is visible only for [Alt-Grad Mapping].
Select [Basic Color] or [Bitmap File].
When [Basic Color] selected the mapping graphic is created automatically according the five basic colors on the page for the ground elements.
When [Bitmap File] selected the mapping graphic is imported an bitmap file.(5) Import Bitmap File
This option is visible only when the [Bitmap File] option is selected for [Generate].
This is for importing an external bitmap file as a mapping graphic.(6) Export Bitmap File
This option is visible only when the [Bitmap File] option is selected for [Generate].
This is for exporting the selected bitmap graphic as a bitmap file.
This option is mainly used when a graphic has to be extracted from a combined setup file of the KashBird.(7) Mapping Unit
This option is visible only for [Alt-Grad Mapping].
This value specifies the area for mapping in the altitude direction. For the area higher than this value tiling is applied.(5) Enter Numbers / Mapping Size / Adjust Map
This option is visible only for the normal mapping
Enter Numbers specifies size of the mapping numerically. This value is a relative value so that you need cut and try. For a movie creation shifting this value results also a shifting of the mapping.(9) TilingMapping Size activates [Mapping Size] button. If you click this button a map window will come up where you can specify the mapping position by mouse operation. Please refer to Here for the detail.
Adjust Map adjust the size of the graphic to be mapped and the size of the map in 1 to 1. This is useful for a small map such as grayscale. For the digital map it cannot be used since the size of the map is too large.
enables tiling. Uncheck it if you want a single mapping.
